• Official Name: Driftwood Springs High School (named by the Board of Trustees in May 2026)
• Location: 11091 Darden Hill Rd, Driftwood, TX 78619 (adjacent to Cypress Springs Elementary School in Hays County)
• Opening Date: Projected to open for the 2028–29 school year
• Capacity & Size: Approximately 2,500 students (grades 9–12) across a ~506,000-square-foot main building
• Facilities: Includes a sub-varsity competition stadium with track, baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, a band practice lot, an agriculture barn, and collaborative learning spaces.
• Timeline: Broke ground on April 13, 2026, with construction actively underway.
